Likewise JBiz indent ordering is designed to enable fast, accurate indent orders to be placed through the system. Setting the privilege levels in the administration system controls who can use the indent functions.
A two-date scenario
On sale date is the date range within which the indent products are offered for sale. If a department has a current indent on sale date, it will appear in the menu; hence the products can be selected and ordered. Once the date range is not current the items are no longer available for indent ordering.
Delivery date range is the months the products can be delivered. This range is set by product range and configures the colour/size/style order quantity matrix for order entry. Different products can have different delivery dates and even product variants can have different delivery dates. JBiz enables totally flexible indent offerings.
Simplified Indent Order Entry
When a product is selected and the matrix displayed, the user can choose to display the entire range of products in the indent ordering matrix. This greatly simplifies the task of entering quantities by colour/size/style and month. Compiled orders can be saved for later editing and approval by the customer prior to committing.
Indent ordering enables the charge date to be set to a different month other than the month the goods are delivered. This is modified by month and is very useful in delivering your goods to your customer early but charging for them on a negotiated date.
Indent Order Forms in hard copy
JBiz can produce indent order forms with customer specific ranges, customer specific pricing and customer specific delivery date ranges. These are then formatted and printed by the system and give a totally professional customer specific order form for your reps to present to customers.
